How to Read a Supplement Label

Start with the serving size, servings per container, active ingredients, amount per serving, other ingredients and any certifications the manufacturer actually documents.

Compare like with like

Two products can have very different serving sizes or ingredient amounts. Compare the same unit and serving basis before judging price or value.

Look for clear information

Prefer labels that clearly identify ingredients and amounts rather than relying on vague proprietary blends. Verify claims and certifications instead of assuming them.
